Sheikh Luqman Bin Imam leads Eid Adha prayer at Ateba-Agassa Okene

Sheikh Luqman Bin Imam  leads Eid Adha prayer at  Ateba-Agassa Okene

July 20th, 2021

Report: AISNA Media Team

The spiritual Leader of Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria Kogi Central headquarter, Okene. Sheikh Luqman Bin Imam Musa Abdullahi Galadima today led Thousands of Muslims for Eid prayer at the C.M.S Primary School's field along Mahad Darul Arqam School Ateba-Agassa Okene, Kogi State

After the performance of the two Rakat prayer of the Eid, sheikh delivered Sermon on "Ma'rifat Allah" (Knowledge about Allah), and linked it; that surely unto Allah we shall return for reckoning.

Sheikh explained the knowledge about Allah, glory unto Him infinitely transcends space and time because Allah has been in existence before the creation of time and space.

The sensory organs, i.e eyes, ears, tongue, nose and skin function only through the limit of impressions it receives from the limited sense of perception.

There are countless proofs in the universe chanting the Divine for eyes that can see, ears that can hear and hearts that can feel. Better still, there are even many testimonies given by the Almighty about Himself. It's a pity for whoever that's still riddled with doubts! As for as, we are concerned, there is no speck of doubt in our hearts!”

The Almighty Allah has disclosed the realities of world's seen and unseen to human understanding in the most appropriate manner.
Indeed, Allah does not bear any resemblance whatsoever to a subsequently created being and is infinitely and absolutely distinct, superior and perfect in comparison.

For these reasons, there is no one on the faces of the earth has ever instinctive and inherent disposition to dispute the creation.  Allah has listed in the Qur'an to claime the ownership beside Allah.

Allah explained that even the unbelievers, who believe in multiple gods and deities, often believe that there is an even higher power, an even greater God over them

Allah said:
If you asked them who created the heavens and earth, they are sure to say, ‘God.’ Say, ‘Praise belongs to God,’ but most of them do not understand." (Quran;31:25)

Again, Allah said:
If you [Prophet Muhammad] asked them who created them they are sure to say, ‘God,’ so why are they deluded?
(Qur'an; 43:87).

It should not be imagined that Allah who has power over all things and creator of all, and no new owner had come over to challenged Allah and claimed the ownership of heavens, earth, sun, star, rock, oceans, animals and human beings beside Allah...

Undoubtedly, It should not be imagined how  Almighty Allah will resurrect everyone after death and will look into their deeds. The Almighty Allah will give a good reward and an everlasting blessing to the benefactors for their deeds and will punish the malefactors for their deeds. And this day is called the Yawm al-Qiyamah (Day of Judgement).

Allah says:
"Do they seek for other than the Religion of Allah.-while all creatures in the heavens and the earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back."
(Qur'an 3:83).

Sheikh Luqman Imam ended the sermon and proceeded to our Muslims sisters at the back row behind men in accordance with Prophetic practice.

He encouraged them on often cum voluntary alms giving ( help to the needy) as a humanitarian act and one that leads to immeasurable reward from Allah.

Sheikh reminds them the Prophetic submissions about charity in a Hadith collected by both
Al-Bukhari and Muslim. The Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace which said, “Protect yourself from hell-fire even by giving a piece of date as charity.”

Sheikh ended the brief sermon with prayer that May Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful give us the means and opportunities to giving away Sadaqah for His pleasure, reward and beautiful lives in this world, and in the Hereafter, Aameen.

Thousands of brothers, and sisters on glamorous attires overwhelmingly graced the Eid Prayer, and in elation mood. The first time of it kind that Sheikh Luqman himself led the Eid prayer. As he usually asked his senior student to do so.

Immediately after the prayer, sheikh had an interview with Jatto FM crew that covered the Eid Prayer.

After exchanging Eid Mubarak pleasantries, Jatto FM asked Sheikh Luqman Imam Musa Abdullah Galadimah what is the hope of the Muslim Ummah and what can they do to earned Allah's Mercies in the hereafter as your today's khutubah (Sermon) centered on Knowing Allah and prepared for hereafter?

Sheikh: The answer was once provided by an Imam in Masjid Nabawi (Prophet Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia), the Imam said:
"For the salvation of Muslims lies in firmly Adherence to the Qur'an and the Sunnah (practice) of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And let our heart's be present with saying of Allah is sufficient for us and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.”

Jatto: What advice can you give to the entire muslim world?

And for the Ummah: let us have self-examination and evaluation to know as Ummah where have we gone wrong and make correction by steadfastness.

Jatto: What is your advice to the non muslim worshippers?

Sheikh: I will advice non Muslims that they should not Judge Islam by misbehaviour of some Muslims but by sincerely studying Quran (even with English Translation copy) and they will definitely know the truth and the beauty of this religion of truth and salvation known as Islam.

Jatto FM: once again Ya Sheikh! Eid Mubarak

Sheikh: “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum”. (May Allah accept [this worship] from you and us”). Aameen
